Today's show at 12pm Central will be our third show in the new V2 interface.  Let's hope the third time's a charm!  Thanks to everyone who hung with us for last night's shortened Travel Show.  Smack Daddy gave out a Wii to Mkasmin as a Wheel prize, and then all hell broke loose.  I'm told our issue has been fixed and things should run smoothly today.  We already have new Wednesday night shows on the schedule, which include Golf and Pet shows in the upcoming weeks. 

The show today will likely kick off with an iPod Nano, which is beating out three other MP3 players.  I don't think the mighty iPod has ever been beaten in a Smack Vote.

I bring exciting news: Today's Daily Smack Show at 12pm Central will feature the new and improved Smack Shopping interface.  Thanks to everyone who participated in the beta test of Version 2 yesterday.  It was certainly a bumpy ride, but we did stay in the air long enough to serve up several deals and everyone did get back down to earth safely. 

Version 2 is packed full of Smack goodness.  Some of the most exciting new features include: 

1. The ability to make Shopping Buddies
2. New chat functionality that allows you to chat in both the main audience and with your Buddies
3. Personal shopping pages customized by you and complete with your own living room (Lukeslichy's page is a good example).

As many of you know, today is a day of mourning for the victims of the VT tragedy.  One of our Smack shoppers passed along information on the Hokie Spirit Memorial Fund to help the victims of this horrible event.  We hope all of you are able to give at least a little to this worthy cause.  Many of us at Jellyfish are making donations today.
