Smack Shopping Version 2 is Alive!
I bring exciting news: Today's Daily Smack Show at 12pm Central will feature the new and improved Smack Shopping interface. Thanks to everyone who participated in the beta test of Version 2 yesterday. It was certainly a bumpy ride, but we did stay in the air long enough to serve up several deals and everyone did get back down to earth safely.
Version 2 is packed full of Smack goodness. Some of the most exciting new features include:
- The ability to make Shopping Buddies
- New chat functionality that allows you to chat in both the main audience and with your Buddies
- Personal shopping pages customized by you and complete with your own living room (Lukeslichy's page is a good example).
Today's Daily Smack Show will be the first time many of you see V2 and we look forward to your feedback as you kick the tires. Most of the bugs should be worked out from yesterday, but please be patient with us as we bring this new system up to speed. It looks like today's show will start with this Seagate 300GB External Hard Drive, which is way ahead in the voting. As always, Smack Daddy will have several great deals in store!
